I shouldn't want to follow. Darkside, of course. I'd follow to the ends of the universe, should he ask me to accompany him.

Too many good friends I haven't seen in too long. Too many people I've loved, to lose one more. Too few people who know me that well.

He's used to moving as soon as he gets close to someone.

It still breaks my heart.

I'm sorry it hurts. I understand. But moving and moving on is one of those parts of life that can be used for good or ill. You could choose to feel lost that he has 'left you', or you can appreciate that you have time to settle out how you feel about him and how you interact with him when you do see him. After all, it's not THAT far away.

It's not so much him leaving me... he's just going, and I don't get to come. At least not yet. Whether we live close by each other later is up to both of us.

He hasn't yet learned that people want to talk to him, that his company is a joy and a blessing.

It's a really hard lesson to learn, and is an issue that I still deal with.
