Friendfeed is interesting, though in my case (and the few people I've discovered over there so far's cases), fairly RSS-reader heavy. I think there's supposed to be a mechanism by which to interact on the Friendfeed site rather than the other sites you're watching via it, but I haven't really discovered it yet. Which is fine.

My cunning plan was actually to take all the feeds I generate from assorted places, put them in one place through that, and then take that and either syndicate it to my friendslist (one rather than multiple) or take it through some other service and have it feed into my journal somehow.

I'm envious of the people at that tech school. When *I* was in college, we had make sure the FAA would NOT complain about class projects. And this sometimes took a fair amount of coordination with government agencies *bleah*. Ever so much easier to just launch-and-be-damned and then get an auto-A for violating controlled airspace (even if you never did break the sound barrier as planned).
