You know, I never thought of that, and now I don't think I'll ever be able to push my glasses back up (something I do maybe 2 dozen times a day) without getting that image. Also, I'm wondering: how would you describe pushing your glasses up your nose roughly, carelessly, or hastily? (M-W definition)

"shoving glasses back into place" would work. I tried "pushing glasses up your nose" and that still had the problematic "glasses up your nose" mental image.
