Upon hearing a deeply contrite "apology" from someone who has just been kicked out of elsejournal, I was moved to these words: "This reads like the enthusiastic backpedaling of someone who is deeply and honestly sorry that they got chewed up one side and down the other and regrets having been caught being a pompous blowhard without portfolio. I am certain that he regrets each and every harsh word that has been heaped upon him in the absence of his ability to comment back."

Phoenix is really not used to weather like this.

Sure! A friend was having problems with an obnoxious person in a locked journal, and eventually kicked them out. They wrote an email of apology that was one of the most fabulously unapologetic apologies I've seen in quite some time.
