(Those of you who use only Dreamwidth, or only LiveJournal, can skip this, unless you're only on Dreamwidth and know I still read your LJ and you're sort of wondering why.)
For those of you who use both LiveJournal and Dreamwidth, which of you intend to be cross-posting everything? I am looking to consolidate things a bit, and it should be no surprise that I intend to make Dreamwidth my primary reading page.
I do tend to wander back and forth between the comments sections hither and yon depending on the discussion. Crosslinking makes me happy. Yay crosslinks!
Anyone reading me on Dreamwidth can safely take me out of their LiveJournal Default View group. I will have crosslinks enabled as long as I have the possibility of comments in both places to crosslink to.

Also, as of the next time I get enough of the right kind of mental cultery to write a post about anything, no comments on the LJ side.

There will probably be some entries that I'll only post on one site or the other. F'rinstance, it feels weird to me to post LJ PSAs on my DW >_>
I may revise these policies in the future, but I can't see that happening any time soon.
tl;dr: Right now, if you want it all, you'll probably want to follow me on both sites. But if you only follow me here, you probably won't miss much.

Hmm...
I added a DW account in case LJ ever becomes completely uninhabitable.

I do cross-post to LJ *at times*. I do not always cross-post. However, if there are any discrepancies between LJ and DW, DW is the place to be. If I post anything unique to LJ, it will be a brief two-paragraph summary of multiple DW entries, with a caveat and links to DW for the juicy details (though that hasn't happened yet). I have also decided to switch to footers at LJ in the future, in the hopes of getting people to come over to DW.
(BTW, arkeiryn has switched over as well, in case you were unaware. Slowly but surely, the Dark Side will win. Muahahaha! Hey, after all, we have cookies!)

The problem is that my LJ gets a lot of comments that aren't on DW. I've been strongly considering closing LJ comments and rewriting my footer to make it easier for people to get to the DW comments and post there, but the number of comments I get on LJ and the fact that I've seen people complaining about DW's OpenID implementation both give me pause.
This post has, however, made me realise the reason that I wasn't seeing the links for the LJ crossposts on my own DW entries - it's because I hadn't turned on the option to do so, since I set up my crossposting before the option even existed. I've just turned it on, so future entries will include the LJ links for those that have access to them.

I really do need to get around to taking the DW cross-posters off my LJ Default View. Maybe this weekend?

Even so, I haven't even been using my personal journal here much anymore, as you've probably noticed. XD; Needless to say, I probably won't be crossposting anything.
