My expectations of Glee aren't high, but I found last night's episode barely even entertaining. Mind you, I'm not a huge fan of Brittney Spears' music. But that ep was odd even by Glee's loose standards of "plot".

Most of it seemed amazingly pastede-on-yey. Which was odd for something that had a good deal of actual development of the ongoing stories -- Will's relationship problems, Rachel's descent into Horrible Person of the Year, Finn vs. football, Artie vs. football, and the new coach.

But the internal plot -- Brittany hates Britney, Will hates Britney, they both get over it -- that is really not much of a plot, and unless you actually like Britney -- not much there. Weak glue.
