Oh yes.

Raspberries are evidently good for pregnant women, with the whole "keeping the baby" thing.

I presume you mean more than that fruits are healthy and pregnant women should eat healthy things. Enlighten me?

It's the leaves, not the berries, dear. *Usually* herb lore is going to refer to the plant itself, not the plant's fruit.

Well, with raspberry I'm quite certain of it, actually. If you go to the health food store and buy raspberry in the *bottle*, it will be the leaves which are dried, ground up, and put in capsules.

With some plants it is, in fact, the berries...but not usually. And not with raspberry. Not that the berries are bad for you. *G* They're just not helpful for the female stuff like the leaves are.

I couldn't begin to add up the amount of raspberry tea I've drunk over the years during pregnancy... *sigh* It's good, don't get me wrong, but ya get TIRED of it! ^_^

And honestly, raspberry leaves are good for women at any time; they're a tonic to the female hormonal system in general, helping to create balance and promote health.

Excellent! Raspberries are my favorite!

Better her than me, that's what I say.
