Things I am variously thankful for/happy about today/this week, a partial list:

• A workplace where I can email in "holy fuck my car you guys" and everything will be OK
• Having things (finally) set up so I can effectively work from home
• Friends who think enough like me so we can talk for hours, or reconnect immediately if we haven't talked for weeks, months, or years.
• Being able to bang up against a wildly unexpected behavior from a daily productivity application, complain about it on the internal not!Facebook, and have ... I think actually three tickets filed against the thing from some entirely sympathetic devs, and get more sympathy from some other administrative assistant types who have banged up against the same thing themselves.
• Having a manager sympathetic to exactly why the guy making the "assume" joke was correct in his decision to take it down, but would have been more correct to not make it in the first place.
• Coca-Cola with blackcurrant syrup.
• Reading a book written by a person who knows more about fisting than me, and who's an excellent and hilarious writer to boot.
• Having been part of an amazing and close-knit community in its heyday, and the friendships that will endure everything ever after because they've already been through hell and high water. (I'm crying again.) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
• A braintwin who gets me. ♥
• An Overlady who understands how the world gets shook up when stuff happens.
• An Overlady who is actually at least in passing acquainted with what the hell I was actually talking about.
• An Overlady who tells hilarious stories
• Really hilarious bad impulses that are fun to explore
• Fun party games
• Thinking my own bad ideas are the funniest shit ever
