Check for a phone repair store? The one at my mall runs about $40 to replace the glass on my iPhone 3GS; I've had to do it twice. (Damn you, gravity!)
ETA: In other news, the fact that both my iPhone and my iPod Touch work beautifully even with giant spiderwebs running across the glass is damned impressive, as far as I'm concerned.
