My goals are to track my step count and thereby increase my physical endurance at a sustainable rate, and to track my sleep. It's been doing that handily as long as I remember to wear it; I've bumped up my daily steps and I've been mostly meeting that goal, and my sleep is at least logged semi-automatically.
My secondary goals are to avoid re-activating my high school disordered eating/exercise behavior, which it has not been so helpful with -- it likes to show me its estimated calorie burn in places that I can't turn it off. That does not sound like it would be an issue for you.
The one unrelated problem that I had was when I forgot and left it on the charger overnight -- and then directly sat down to log my sleep manually. I had to collect some steps and then sync in order to be able to log sleep, because it had no data and was still thinking of it as the future.

I have some concerns about its ability to track my primary form of exercise, i.e., cycling. But I've made two recent changes that I think it would be valuable for quantifying: I've changed to a standing workstation at the office, and I'm substituting walking for biking one commute day per week. Also, the sleep tracking interests me. I'll give it another look.

It really does not track standing vs. sitting at all well, unless you're actively bouncing around while standing. When I first got it, I had a nice long standing hallway chat during which I was shifting my position rather a lot, and not what I considered smoothly from my fencing training, but apparently too smoothly for the widget to pick up. However, I do have a little under-desk pedal machine, and it picks up that nicely. I don't know of any places that loan them out for test drives, but that would be lovely if there were such a thing.

I suspect that the only way to get a handle on the difference that standing all day makes in my calorie burning is over a long period of weight and calorie tracking.
