Walking = chafing.

Or, at least, more chafing than not-walking gets you.

The bad thing about chafing is that it's easier to avoid than it is to cure, and it inevitably seems to happen in the least pleasant places to get it, places which keep getting re-injured by walking again, or just ... wearing underwear, or whatever.

Any one of obnoxious menstrual shenanigans, bad sleep, and chafing, I could possibly shrug off. All at once? Ahahaha.

I have an assortment of burn creams. Now if only the healing process did not involve such infernal itching.

You may already be familiar with this stuff, but in case the concept is as much news to you as it was to me: are you familiar with Bodyglide? (For preventing the next chafing, not for curing the existing chafing.) I mostly use it if I'm going to be wearing a skirt on a hot day.

Ooh, what's your comparable cream? I'm wondering if it smells better. :-)

Echoing the rec for Bodyglide, although ordinary petroleum jelly works pretty well. However to combat the on-going chafing, I'd recommend sudacreme, you can find it in the baby products aisle. It not only helps with the soreness, but it really works well at preventing and combating infections.

My scout master used to swear by it, and given he was ex-infantry he should know!

I know.. can't walk because of $problem but need to get $thing to help with $problem.

sudo get $thing /dev/SO
# where /dev/SO = $significant_other.
# which only works if /dev/SO doesn't map to /dev/null.

I have joint pains, frequently I can't get to the painkillers because it hurts to stand. [and the ones I left within reach have run out].

Solution to that, and getting it.

Actually, pretty sure if you poke around you can find either cheaper, or next day delivery, and maybe even both.
