I really like the sea-monster tail, rather than the usual fish-tail.

I know some divers who, on deep dives when they needed to decompress, would put a paperback inside a ziplock bag and read underwater while they waited for the time to pass. I wish I could find a picture ;p

That's wonderful. And so true, too - there would have to be a library network.

You'd swap books back and forth between territories, and deliberately put them back in a different box from where you found it.

At some point, they'd have to rebalance the collection so that popular locations didn't hog all the books. Which would probably involve sea monster transports our something.
