What's your recipe for maple mead again? I'm thinking of taking some for mysticwit's housewarming. She's a Bujoldian. :)

Well, it's probably not true maple mead, but I use approximately 1 part maple syrup to 1 part vodka. Serve chilled.

I know it's not true maple mead...that would have to be fermented maple syrup, basically. But yours sounds like it's yummy enough. :)
