Home, minus uterus
Got the uterus (and tubes, and ovaries) out yesterday. Spent the night at the hospital.
Got home today just after noonish, and shortly thereafter fell over for a much-needed nap.
Pain is mostly being covered, and I've been sitting up and walking around. Tomorrow I may venture further afield. No driving for a bit yet, though.
I'm very happy to be rid of my uterus. Of particular note: #bloodcannon is not happening anymore!
I may post a more detailed version in a while.

Pain is doing okay this morning.
Lack of cannonades is always an excellent outcome.

One hint for later: since you did get the ovaries removed, you may want to check on which hormones they were supplying to keep your bones strong, and whether you should find supplements for them. (I am phrasing it that way because I don't know your age -- my mother's ovaries were removed during her hysterectomy when she was 40, and she had problems with bone fragility later in life that were not fun and I would not want you to have those.)
But for now, please relax, heal and be well.

That sort of specific labeling is a red flag for anyone of a non-binary gender, and often correlates with a space where non-binary folks are subjected to various forms of discrimination, othering, and outright hostility. It's a sign that the folks running the forum have not thought about inclusiveness to non-binary folks who otherwise meet the physical requirements, and that lack of inclusiveness is pretty much guaranteed to result in well-meant stuff that nonetheless pushes various unhappiness buttons, sometimes all of them at once.

Thoughtless of me.
Thank you for the education! I will check for this bias in future.
