Keeping up with the friends list was causing the screaming Lunatic some screaming manias. So, there was the snippy applied to the friends list.

Most of the people/communities snipped were ones that I rarely have much to say to, and don't usually get happy hyper delightful joy out of reading, though reading it certainly isn't eyebleeding pain. Reading /friends?skip=60 to catch up with everything since lunchtime is sometimes eyebleeding pain.

So, snippy snippy.

I'm considering doing this, but won't un-friend anyone -- I'll just make a filter list and read all when I'm bored, and only the pertinent people when I'm busy.

For the most part, the journals I un-friended were either not very high-volume or communities that really I had no interest in anymore. So filtering them out would be generally silly. ...Dunno. For the most part, I have people on my friends list that I like to read.
