Guess what we did in Science class today?

When the instructions from my science teacher start to resemble the instructions from my covenmates on certain esoteric tasks, I begin to wonder about things.

The spoon's bent twice around, by the way. Only five of us remembered to bring spoons; out of that five, two of us succeeded in doing the bending.

So what did you do with the spoons? I've bent spoons before, but always by the old-fashioned leverage-with-fingers method, which works on all spoons I've met. Or did you have three weak/clumsy classmates?

This would be with a hold on the spoon that might not be precisely the best way to hold it to bend it, and a cunning and focused application of brute force.

Usually, one needs tools to hold the spoon in order to get it bent with this precision. This was just bare fingers.

The wording of the instructions to bend the spoon, however, sounded suspiciously like something that votania would have told me to do at the very very beginning of my training.
