2nd shot update
I got my second shot on Saturday the 10th.
By Sunday the 11th, a 3 finger sized oval patch around the injection site had grown visibly pink, visibly raised, warm, and quite sore/tender to the poke. "It's the forks," I quipped.
On Tuesday the 13th, when I saw my NP for routine and unrelated reasons, it was still pink and warm, but much less sore. She busted out a medical sharpie and drew a circle around it, just to make sure it was not spreading (and therefore to be treated as an opportunistic infection).
Yesterday, the 14th it had not spread and had improved on at least one axis, though I forget which.
Today it is only slightly warm, the difference in texture I have to press to notice, the pink has turned post-sun-exposure-red-pink with a slightly yellowing bruise-dot in the center, and it only complains if I press it to see if it's still raised and only then briefly. The marker line is helpful in that I'm not sure I'd see it correctly without that to guide.
There was also an annoyed place under the waistband of the skirt I wore the Saturday, but unsure if that was vaccine related or skirt needs another wash related, or both.
