I said goodbye, and then Mama and I talked for a while. I told her she should call my aunt, who hasn't got cell reception at her house, regardless of the hour. norabombay and sithjawa sent a sympathy cheesecake with a message that made me feel very seen, in a good way. It was very good cheesecake and helped a lot. There are still some slices in obscure corners of the freezer.
