TV as she is watched

A snapshot of the household TV-watching, for certain extended definitions of same:

* [personal profile] alexseanchai: Miraculous Ladybug, plus other things, probably; Belovedest just stood up a mini media box in their room for better convenience

* Belovedest: many things including Summer Games Done Quick, their baseballs, and the remaining winter Paralympic Games, and asst gameshows (some of which I watch too)

* Me: Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud, The $100,000 Pyramid, To Tell the Truth, Holey Moley. Schitt's Creek is a me-only show, and I'm more likely to read than to TV when I'm alone. Leverage: on hiatus. AtLA: hiatus.

* We tried The Floor Is Lava; the one-team-in-the-room format is fun, but apparently season 2 puts everyone in together and Alex says that is less fun.
* Upon seeing promos for The Final Straw, we watched an episode because they looked fun. Belovedest and I were both underwhelmed at the actual show.
* The show after that was Domino Masters, and I started watching it while Belovedest and Alex were involved in standing up the mini media box. At the start of the baseball-themed setup, I carefully ran it back and paused it for the edification of Belovedest. Then I went go flomp. Belovedest watched it from there, and has now put it on the subscription list.

Re: The Floor is Lava - the teams individually doing the rooms is still entertaining. There isn't much talk from the observers gallery. There's a new team vs team bit at the end that isn't particularly entertaining. I've been using it as background noise, but am enjoying the new rooms and that the team members have to take different paths to achieve objectives before exiting.
