I'm feeling very standoffish towards the world right now. I know that Dawn would be able to hug me w/o any negative consequences, and hopefully Darkside, but I'm not even sure about him.

"Mary Jane," by Alanis? I actually thought it was about eating disorders. I guess it could go either way. I found out recently that Alanis had publicly admitted to having had eating disorder issue in the past, and I think it's pretty clear from a lot of her music that she's dealt with depression as well, so who knows.

I see the bit that's regarding eating disorders, but I see that as being a part of a larger suite of depressive characteristics.

It just hit me while listening to it... I've been digging through my folders of audio fun and listening to the things I haven't heard in a while, if ever.
