Rain
I was going to go shopping today, but alas, the combination of Belovedest being under the weather, me still being sleep-lagged, and the ambient humidity delayed this enough that it was too late for Costco when I set out. Maybe tomorrow.
Today we have observed that 50% humidity at low 70s F will absolutely give me some kind of breathing attack disguised as a panic attack, especially if I'm just freshly out of the shower. Previously it was thought that only 60% would get me.
I have come home with ginger ale, cider, and frozen broccoli. Plus another caramel apple.
It's snowing in Alaska. Mama made a snow goose sculpture and sent us pictures.
FFA should be out of read-only Soon; see https://dw-maintenance.dreamwidth.org/89826.html if you encountered unexpected mojibake/Zalgo on DW today. (Or if you just want to read about some very nice troubleshooting. Mark and Robby were looking at the stuff and going "???" until someone got the idea that what if it was the machine that did the migration that was making a difference, and there it was and at that point the cleanup started.)

*reads the comments*
*stops at the comment by a person who starts by saying that Perl is a dead language and should be replaced, and continues by acknowledging that Perl isn't dead, but asks if it's really what's needed in a world of machine learning and AI*
*starts typing*
*stops*
*closes window emphatically*
That looks like a very pretty piece of troubleshooting. Snow goose also sounds cool. I hope your partner feels better soon.

It was an extremely interesting string of comments.

But I finally figured out how to describe that particular genre of Russian humor: worst-case one-upmanship.
I think he started out mostly serious, though

Does this weird person actually think that DW will be somehow maintained by an AI? https://dw-maintenance.dreamwidth.org/89826.html?thread=4084962#cmt4084962
