Picked up two rugs off Craigslist. The second rug and the knife block were bonuses.

The downstairs is mostly Pippin-proof. We think.

Have a pair of plastic Raktajino mugs now. Won a small auction, went down to pick it up today. Then some shopping.

Right hip is acting up (again). Booked primary care appointment for mid-January. At the moment it doesn't really want to support weight and it's very hard to lift my thigh.

Partner has started listening to back episodes from doof.org and this has combined with the Meg Langslow mystery I am currently reading, with all the dogs with W-names, and uwu has come out as an earworm. To wit:

How did you get the mastodon to dreamwidth thing up? I've got an dw account I used to use for Twitter and it would be cool if I could get that working again, but I haven't gotten around to looking at what it would take.

I'm just importing it as an RSS feed, which is unfortunately (in this case) ephemeral, but does allow people to subscribe to it here rather than needing to depend on visiting an external site.

Trying to run the RSS through IFTTT and into Dreamwidth email post doesn't give me the results I want, alas.
