Yellface jumped on me and did a 4-something AM scream. I was semiconscious and turned back over to sleep, after noting the event in my sleep log.

Later this morning, when I got up to pee and guiltily came out to check on her, I saw a stinking pile of poo in the living room.

Yesterday she'd done some yelling while trying to wipe her butt.

This morning when Belovedest woke up there was additionally a hairball in the kitchen.

So, it was some kind of emergency. Poor meep. Belovedest has emailed the vet.
