Happy Solstice!
We are having a nice, quiet day here. Belovedest is watching Hogfather.
Mundane miscellaney:
Bed maintenance: I am trying out a new pillow arrangement for my so-called headboard (a bunch of things and baskets balanced in pillows and blankets): pillows rolled in blankets such that the cradle for the baskets is a cradle (it has a bottom), not a crevice (things can fall through to under the bed). I have recovered two lost silicone bracelets from the mattress-lifting exercise.
I bet I could rig up some kind of bedframe attachment for the sheet suspenders, so we don't have to lift the mattress in search of them every damn time
Thursday: not very much.
Friday: shopping! I have been craving something adjacent to Reuben sandwiches, so we got the necessary meat and cheese. Pretty sure I saw sauerkraut in the downstairs pantry. We wore our matching festive sweaters, or "sweater" in my case (it's a t-shirt). Our friends at the pharmacy and grocery store cracked up.
The festive sweater/"sweater" lineup for the whole household:
Steph: festive bearded dragon (t-shirt)
Me: "All I Want For Christmas Is A Dragon", with a dragon silhouette (t-shirt)
Belovedest: A dragon, flaming, with presents going everywhere (actual sweater)
