Going to get lunch with Dawn and Neighbor today. Should be fun. Will be hitting the Mongolian Barbecue by Metro. Mmmm. Delicious-making. Have only been there the once before, with BJ, when he and I were together.

I love Mongolian BBQ!! It's pretty good for you, too, if you have them make it without oil, or with just a little. I eat it like 1 or 2 times a week.

Nearly frozen beef, sharp knife, carrots/mushrooms/whatever, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, rice vinegar, green onions, Chinese 5-spice... shave meat with knife, slice veggies thin, add sauce.

Not a lot... my mom was never much of a cook, and I've never really gotten too much into learning. I can make a few easy things reasonably well--omelettes, stir fry, french toast, pasta... but that's about it.

My mongolian barbecue clone is basically stir fry with the meat cut up thinner, and probably cooked hotter.

I cook everything pretty hot... in the sense of both spiciness and temperature. I like it spicy enough to make me cry and hot enough to cause blistering on the roof of my mouth.
