Future Plans

They always do seem to get screwed up, don't they?

All, really, that anyone can do is start going through with them anyway, planning for contingencies like mad, especially with the "no one gets hurt" variety plans. My combat MP are probably lower than I'd want them to be. To achieve peace, first prepare for war?*

*Not me. Some dead character, probably Chinese, probably the one who's overquoted by MNVK.

I have plans for my future. I want to settle down and get married, build a household, finish my novel, work happily, probably have a kid somewhere in there. American Dream, eh?

I refuse to allow ominous portents to shake me from my goal. I will, however, keep alert and armed...

Actually, I was in fact referring to LMB's plot for the Vorkosoverse: the Cetagandans are already getting quite along there, in terms of "alien".

I read that recently. I think it might have been in her GoH speech from a con. She said she won't be introducing any aliens into the series. Rather, humans will be modified in so many ways that "by the time we meet the aliens, they will be us", or something like that.

That's the one.

Sounds like fun. My hotmail's mostly spammed up, and I just keep it because that's my legacy address that I gave people I haven't heard from in years.
