There are two blond chicks in my English class who I am coming to despise.

I don't say that word lightly. I try to avoid the stronger and milder forms of dislike as much as I can. I can establish preferences against, but I try to avoid dislike.

From all appearances, they're irresponsible and disrespectful and I don't see why they're in college if they're going to hate it this much. At least, why they're in a technical college. Either they're ACCT or BIS, because they'd never survive the harder sciences, not with that kind of ass-brain.

Hey, I went to school with those girls! Or their older sisters. When I took a Shakespeare course (only a requirement for English majors, no one else had to be there) there were some girls in the class who would not only use the Cliff notes, but they'd bring them to class and leave them lying about on their desks. And they wondered why the prof. was frosty to them.

I was my high school's English Lit class's exegete, though how Hamlet should have been beyond most of the honor students in my class, I cannot fathom.

These bubblebrains in my class look notorious for an excess of eyeliner (and not in a pretty goth way, in a raccoon blonde way) and most likely not even reading the selection. I can only get away with sitting in the back of the class reading other novels and making sour comments because of my true skill with the language.
