Have taken the lights that I got yesterday and stretched them around the edges of my room, utilizing picture-hangers and twist-ties instead of the indicated holder-things. Why? Because we're not going to live here forever. If/when I get my own house, I will indeed install stuff like this permanently, because I can. It looks niftier than the Christmas lights. I've unplugged the rest of them, so this is showing up brilliantly. I'm delighted.

These are the little LEDs in the blue tube. They're still going strong but for the one section.
