Went to the pool and hung out with Adam. We chatted in the hot tub. What would have been midway through our soak, I noticed a large foreign object, reminiscent of a spaceship (specifically, the splashdown module used by Buzz A*, * A*, and Mike Collins coming back from their first moon adventure), in the pool with us. What could be more fun than an errant pool light? It had evidently come un-anchored from its place in the side of the hot tub, and was now floating almost-free, tethered by a grey electrical cord.

I vacated the hot tub.

Adam noted that the light was, as it had been the whole time, off, and there were no sparks, and he wasn't frying. He attempted to shove the light back where it belonged, a pursuit which gave me much to giggle about. It eventually went there. One of the other guys lounging around the pool noted that the pool lights had all been turned off following some drunken escapades by an unspecified group of guys.

Adam unfortunately cut himself on the pool light. We chilled there for a while more, talking about this and that. He's had Ashford in the past, and is sorry for me. Evidently Ashford does not get on particularly well with male students.
