When your friend makes a sassy comment and you grab his throat reflexively, this is just fine... until you realize that the friend whose throat you are grabbing is not the friend whose throat you grab.

and he knows his ass from his elbow. I even told him I loved him. (Today, I told him the exact day I fell in love with him.) He just thinks that I'm not his type, despite all the obvious reasons we'd be a good couple.
