a lot of "unsubscribe" forms have a hidden, sinister purpose. Some of them remove you from that mailing, but put you on a secondary list of people who actually -open- the spam, and are thus more desirable spam targets. you unsubscribe from one, but get put on a more desirable list (from the spammers point of view).
