Well, I had to officially deal with my first Kid Crisis.

Fortunately, we were already wide awake by the time he started hurling.

No more *anything* containing pork for this boy. His mom hurls every time she eats something with pork in it, and now so does he. Ooooh, Grandma is ever going to be pissed about this....

If you don't eat something for a long time, it certainly makes sense it can make you ill when you do try it. I was raised vegetarian and now I can't eat meat.

This does remind me a bit of my grandmother, as I said. We'd get together and have to do something cultural (museum usually) and then she'd take us out to dinner. She'd always act like it was the worst, most painful trial to find a restaurant with vegetarian options, and she'd usually either offer, 'Well, they have salad' or 'Vegetarians eat tuna fish, right?' Oy.
