Nicknames

Evidently, evealone is going to start calling me Ryoko, and perhaps start calling Darkside Tenchi. But no, he said, that wouldn't work. He began searching around for other anime universes that would fit the bizarre situation Darkside and I find ourselves in. He eventually lit on Marmalade Boy, a series I've only seen the one episode from.

It remains to be seen whether he'll ever use these nicknames in front of Darkside.

angst, incest, and pedaphiles.

Thoose three words describe marmalade boy.

lots of angst and the incest comes from the two sets of parents swapping partners (divorce then remarry) and thier kids sorta falling in love.
They aren't brother and sister legally but they have they share 3 of the parents.
(basically the kids keep thier mom and switch dads.)


but the most aggrivating to me was this one pedaphile couple. Teacher/student relationship.

I've only seen the one episode so far. I now have a practical application of the word "kwaiii!"

Somehow the concept of a relationship between non-biological siblings does not squick me.

Actually, I saw a few episodes and really liked it. Especially the parent-swap.
