We know this because our dear sister (non-biological) works at the airport. Guess who was in the bar hitting on chicks? Thaaaat's right. Tone Loc. And I understand the need to kick back and relax away from adoring fans, but there are polite ways to avoid autographing a photo of your adoring fan who is a seven-year-old. Tone Loc might want to brush up on the "graceful brush-off" side of things to people who are being polite about it...




Also, up to two of the other employees quit. How fun. Everyone has been working their tails off, consequently, and guess who got home late? *sigh* Poor woman.

• Hope the car doesn't blow up when it's getting fixed.

The "Tooth Fairy" evidently did not show up last night.

Someone was wide awake when he was supposed to have been asleep.

Still prickles me as wrong to do the whole tooth fairy and santa thing, but I'm not his mother. At least I can rationalize it as follows: "But there is a Tooth Fairy! Mommy is the tooth fairy for you, and Mama was the Tooth Fairy for me, and every kid's mom or dad or aunt or somebody is the tooth fairy for them."

Still disturbs me somewhat, though.

Yes, cat, when you go to bite my kickass knee-high zip-up black boot, I will hiss at you. So don't look at me like you weren't doing anything wrong. If you'd thought you were behaving yourself, you wouldn't be looking at me like that.

Made myself a shiny badge with the letter 'W' inside a red circle with a slash through it.

That about sums up my political stance for this upcoming US election.

A Proper Shopping Trip

Headed to the mall. Stopped in at Bath & Body Works. They had a soap sale, so I got a bar. Stopped in at some of the earring shops, and eventually ended up with some cubic zircona hypoallergenic earrings. Sparkly! Star-shaped!

Headed off to the library, and returned the books. Got more. Am reading Night Watch now. PTerry, of course.

Came back through, and stopped in at See's. Next time, perhaps I'll not have the chocolate-covered cherries. Stopped back in at B&BW and got more soap. Came home on the bus. Stopped in at the dollar store first, though, and got alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, for cat-ear happy fun.

(Yes. Draining and cleaning an abcessed ear is fun. Joy joy joy.)

Am now going to dabble at the rest of my housework, turn up my beak at supper, and read.
