There's not such thing as a 'British' accent. ;o)

Also, technically, 'Scotland' is a part of 'Britain'.

My accent is a Greenock accent. It's noticeably different from an Edinburgh accent, vastly different from, say, an Islay accent. It's also not quite the same as a Glasgow accent, but I can pass as Glaswegian, since it's /almost/ the same.

Darkside can do the "cultured English accent" thing that goes over well with the ladies, like James Bond only a bit more so.

His Scottish accent is similar to yours, only not quite so heavy.

Neither of them would probably sound utterly authentic to you, as it's been a while for him.
