The PDA market seems to be in flux right now. Palm got bought by some random far-east company, and most people seem to be focussing on 'smart phones', like the Sony-Ericsson P910 (http://www.sonyericsson.com/p910/).

I'm figuring that my next phone is probably going to be smart. Since I do have cellphone service now, why not?

I /want/ an S-E Pxxx smartphone, but I really can't justify one.

If you're planning to upgrade anyway, you might want to think if you could spend the PDA money on a smartphone, and sell your current phone?

Just upgraded. Another year, I think. Or, depending on finances... but the next upgrade.

Sadly, most of the best-looking smartphones run some version of Windows - which makes them awkward and annoying to use with my computer.
