Dear Passive-Aggressive Twit Dude:

You may not be aware of this, but complaining about your Mostly Harmless booth-neighbor who periodically talks to herself (and fairly represents both sides of the conversation) in front of your supervisor in that fashion may not be the best of decisions.

First, if you can't sanely and politely ask the woman to keep her voice down, or at least turn away from you, you probably don't belong in a workplace for grown-ups.

Second, complaining that your co-worker talks to herself in front of the multiple-personalitied supervisor? Maybe next time I have occasion to be near you, I'll invite the girls out and we can all talk about what we're thinking about.

Finally, you are a boring old windbag. I'm glad other people see something worth spending time with in you, because I sure don't.

The other supervisors would probably not be surprised to see me in a lengthy debate with myselves. The phone goons would be either a little nervous, or a lot nervous, depending on if they actually know me or not. (At least one of my current co-workers reads my LJ.)

As for my original comment, I'm thinking more that it's stupid to slur a fellow employee to a boss that you know may not be sympathetic to your cause, and could be outright offended by the way you're handling it...

You should have an energetic conversation with your other halves about periods. ;P I hear that one frequently works on guys, right up there with disinterested intellectual discussions about what makes guys hot and whether or not said party qualifies.

Though since this guy is a man past retirement age (this is, IIRC, a retirement part-time job for him to keep him out of trouble) and he's married, periods might not work so well on him.

Hotness ... I'm sure he's an all-right-looking older man. But that's not the sort of discussion that anyone but Dagger would have about the guy, not even speaking with a ten-foot pole. I think he'd be too tempted to join in.
