Bread lubricant.
I can rarely remember how to spell "margarine" without a reference or a spell-checker, so I've started to avoid the word. Avoiding the word in writing means also avoiding it in speech and thought. Therefore, when thinking about the contents of the refrigerator, I told
hcolleen: "Oh, and you're almost out of bread lubricant."
I use it too, but she is the one who mostly uses it. She laughed at me. When she extracted her bread from the machine this morning, she asked me if I'd like a slice of it with lubricant. I, of course, said yes.

Then again, the margarine (which I also can never spell) we use is half-butter anyway because we consistently choose taste over health. :oD

I do think I like "bread lube" better, though. *weg*

Anyway, it makes bread /soggy/, which is not something I would possibly desire.

And I nearly ended up with Coke all over my computer monitor at work when I read that.

Your workplace could probably use more of that.

But I've noticed if I write one way, I speak that same way.
For instance, I haven't heard the word "Voldemort" come out of my mouth except maybe twice since July the fourth! And the last time I did, I was surprised at myself. :P
