It's been closed about a week, and has been progressively getting greener. It was only a little cloudy when they closed it.

When you said "goat, green gunk" in response to the pic I posted yesterday, I was NOT expecting this as a result. =P "Lime slime" also comes to mind, somehow. ;)

Lame joking aside, that does look pretty nasty. ^^;; Can't believe that it looks like that after it's been closed for a week. The pool at my apartment complex, which they're officially opening for the summer this weekend, looks much better than that, and it's been closed since Labor Day of last year.

They have now drained it, and it is re-filling. It got closed when it was merely dusty and dingy, and then turned bright green, and will soon be sparkling crystal clear once it's full again.

They try and keep it clean; they're out vacuuming it every day, but we had a gnarly dust storm.
