Friday Night

gameboyguy13 got stuck on a long survey, and was the last man out. I got the timing very well down, and was signed out by the time he got off the phone. myrrhianna had started celebrating scoring the tickets. We got him to his bank, got some much-needed soda, and got him home. Dinner followed, and general insanity.

Somehow, we wound up out on Deer Valley just west of the 17. There was immense giggling. JD looks his age when he hasn't shaved in a while.

There are plots to go out to see the Grand Canyon one of these weekends. This weekend is too late. Next weekend involves a best friend and a birthday, at least potentially. And Obso1337 Manager was inquiring after my holiday plans for the Solstice, reminding me to get it off. (It's nice being in a workplace that's reasonably open to all religions.) We're thinking maybe July 6/7/8? And wondering who locally wants to contemplate joining in.

The problem with going to see the grand canyon during the summer is it involves driving through the desert in the summer. Uck.

Well, yes, but the problem with going to see the Grand Canyon during the rest of the year is that I'm in northern California then >_>

I think we have some sort of plan to drive at night, so we can watch the sunrise? That idea was at least tossed around.
