Still feels like Monday!

Got off to a late start. Not the sort of day I really wanted, but eh. Up too late all upset about stuff. In retrospect, I'm suspecting that part of it was crashing off the pain meds, since I felt very OK this morning when I woke up.

I'm also wondering about the quality of my sleep, because I seem to be getting better sleep when I go to bed half knocked-out.

I spent a few minutes poking at the mess on the car floor. It looks like I can probably get it up with some time with a spoon and some paper towels and water. The floor mat will have to be hosed off, and I'd ideally like the carpet steam-cleaned, but I hope there won't be too much residual ick. It's going to be sticky until cleaned, I can tell that much. Bleh.

Today I'm documenting. My head's still a little fuzzy, but I'm doing much better now that I'm in writer-space and talking about the paperwork.

I've been thinking about starting some of Syne's random writing advice/workshoppy things, because she explains concepts so excellently well. Would you have time to go over to synecdochic and look for the one on length/plot/emotional elements, and figuring out how long your fic is?
