denise is laid up without being able to type for a bit.

Most cases of "Emergency X drive" where someone is variously illin' are the "need cash now" variety. In this case, that's not so -- she has decent health coverage. However, if I know her, she is most likely going stir-crazy, because work on Dreamwidth involves typing, her favored recreational activity of writing involves typing, her favored everyday social interaction mode (IRC/AIM) involves typing ... yeah, all sorts of not good. (Yes, there are ways to set up voice control of the computer, and some of them are very good, and none of them would be a good idea. The hand thing is, with the favor of all fortunate gods, temporary, and yes, she knows about the options and someone being Helpfully Informative about them would be the opposite of helpful so don't.)

She has, conveniently, already pre-listed her fic kinks.

I'm figuring that recommendations for non-interactive entertainment (such as fic that you or others have already written) are probably in demand too, but fic written just for someone is a very special and sweet kind of awesome. Bake you cookies and write you porn, and all that.

She writes SG1, has written SGA, used to write popslash. She seeks out Harry/Draco fic. Fiber arts ought to be a fandom of its own. I ... know she watches stuff? But I have wound up with the impression that it's more the shininess of the writing that draws her, rather than specific fandoms outside the ones I know that she likes.

Though she could probably name off a few more fandoms that she's happy to read from, heh. :D

Off the top of my head (and a quick look at her tags list), I know she's written SG1, SGA (but broke up with it before the later seasons), SPN, Sentinel, and popslash. And watched Criminal Minds.

However, I suspect she'd delighted to have things written specially for her, whether she's familiar with the fandom or not.

I know she's vidded Farscape too. I suspect she wouldn't say no to Farscape (especially if it were a vid.)

Awesome. I have a CM idea that would work with her fic kinks, so I'll work on that; at least I'll know she knows who the characters are in that case haha.

Okay! I wrote a little something for Denise in Criminal Minds verse:

"I don't know, I'm just... stressed," Prentiss sighs, tugging her knees up to her chest on Garcia's sofa. "There's just so much stuff going on, and I can't get out of my head." She waves her arm in spirals around her head until Garcia proclaims that she's getting dizzy and scoots onto the floor. Prentiss eyes her cautiously as she turns around, facing away, and flops onto her back.

"What you need," Garcia declares to the ceiling tiles. "Is plow."

"Plow??" Prentiss leans over, forearms on her knees, and stares at Garcia. "If you're suggesting I run out and find a man to..."

Garcia laughs, full throated. "No, sunshine, plow," she says again, and then suddenly Garcia is rolling backward, up onto her shoulders, and Prentiss sits back quickly to avoid being kicked in the face as a pair of green Chuck Taylors start arcing towards her. "Plow," Garcia mumbles, speaking obscured by the fact that her bosom is squashed against her chin, her front body crunched into an uncomfortable-looking shape, her feet touching the ground.

"Wow," Prentiss says, a little impressed. "I didn't know you were that flexible."

Garcia laughs and rolls back down onto her back, then tips her chin up so that she can look upside-down at Prentiss and grin. "Get your ass on the floor, sexy lady."

"You know," Prentiss admits as they lie side-by-side on their backs after twenty minutes of asanas, Garcia having changed into yoga pants and a tank top, Prentiss in her bra and underwear, "I do feel better."

"Told you. Also, you're not meditating."

Prentiss laughs. "How do you know? Maybe I'm verbally meditating."

"Verbally meditating my ass."

"You want me to verbally meditate on your ass?" Prentiss rolls onto her side, grinning.

"Well if that's where you want to go, I could recommend a few other body parts."

Prentiss considers. "You're just flirting, right? I mean, this is Penelope-flirting?"

Garcia rolls to face Prentiss and props up on her forearm. "Depends. What's Penelope-flirting?"

"You know, like you do with Morgan. Penelope flirting."

"Why Emily, I have no idea what you're talking about."

It's kind of a relief that Garcia is fucking with her. That sparkle in the eyes is quite reassuring, though it's weird to look at Garcia without her glasses. "Am I blurry?" she asks.

"Non sequitur."

Prentiss can't help but giggle. "That was the worst come-on in the history of come-ons."

Prentiss smiles. "All right, fine. I want to meditate on your body parts, Penelope."

Garcia grins. "Now that's what I'm talking about."
