Upright at last!
Hip did much better today. When I got up in the night, it didn't hurt. It was sore upon sitting down first thing in the morning, but I addressed that with ibuprofen and I had no more trouble.
We did shopping, and I drove because the battery flag on my Toaster hadn't cleared. It needed me to sync the app with the actual odometer, which I guess is a thing? Plus I noticed a headlight out, which is going to be a fun replacement. Belovedest says it can be done with help from a friendly auto parts store employee. Unlike my first car, which needed removing an entire side panel...
In any event, we did Costco, Safeway, and Belovedest ran into Home Depot to try and get a big jug of Nature's Miracle (because Escape Calico). What was available was the dog version, so we're going to try again (and return the jug if we haven't needed to crack into it).
There was a box-alanche when I tried to stuff the freezer, so everything on the top shelf came out and I re-stacked it. All the orange chicken is at the back now, because it's in boxes that stack well. (Trader Joe's keeps running out.)
The shelves at Safeway were in a mildly concerning state, but between the snow storm, the flooding, and Omicron, I don't know what else I expected. We have our bread, eggs, and half-and-half; we're good to makebreaded eggs French toast ... omelette sandwiches?
