Plumbing :(

I slept through all of this, but yesterday was Enlivened by the Discovery of water incursion downstairs, traced back to the pipes below the kitchen sink.

Belovedest has turned off the water supply to the sink (I think all of the upstairs folks have tried turning on the tap there at least once, so this was a very good strategy) and the plumbers are due Tuesday.

Whee.

Oh dear. That really sucks. Here's hoping the repair is inexpensive, and the damage isn't too bad.

Aggggh, no fun. Hope there was not significant water damage and it's an inexpensive fix.

Could’ve been worse - the leak was near, but not on, the electrical outlet.

I have vague thoughts of putting a little umbrella on that electrical outlet …
