Oh, Max. [Cracked Phoenix]
(This involves stuff that hasn't been written yet, and my plot noodling about that. Is plot noodling like pot noodling?)
So Max, Raven, and Amber do keep banging fairly regularly, hooray triad! And various college shenanigans happen. Raven is not much up on college at this point. Amber ... oh god. If Amber and Raven get separated by college, neither of them is going to be happy. If Amber and Max are at college together without Raven, that's going to be weird, and Raven won't be happy.
But in any case, when Max falls in with the dragongeeks, he's going to start becoming distant, which isn't going to thrill either Raven or Amber. There's going to be a breakup because of that (poor kids) -- and *then*.
Amber and Max are going to wind up having ex-sex. Without telling Raven. Technically both of them are cheating -- Amber on Raven, and Max on the celibacy he's supposed to be having. (It doesn't matter at that point, but he still feels guilty.) Both of them stop talking to each other. (So the song "Somebody that I Used to Know" is in my head most often about my bad breakup from LJ, but it's for them too now.)
Amber gets pregnant. She doesn't talk to Max out of aaa. Max doesn't know, and doesn't talk to her out of the guilt, not realizing that Raven totally knows.
Susan may not have done the head-smacking yet. She doubtless will when the time comes.
So at the time of Connie, Max doesn't know he has a kid. Oh my. And then I think Susan may come into things and attempt to unfuck it. Because just because her (previous??) dude and her (previous?) other dude have had dudely problems does not mean that she does not want to unfuck her protegees' poly relationships.
Poor Connie will be very confused for a while.
