Fishcat, cat Fish

Babyfish has a cat now! She is three, black, smallish, named Alterna. She likes to snuggle up to Ev when napping. She loves chase-toys.

When Ev visited a few weeks ago, she hit it off well with Murderface. Her dad had suggested getting a dog and a hobby. That was unsuitable for various reasons, but spending time with snuggly purry Murderface convinced her that she would do well with a cat.

So she went through the prerequisites and brought home a cat last weekend. They're learning each other and settling in. She may well wind up getting a pet camera to reassure herself that the cat is okay when she's at work.

I'm so proud and happy for her.
