But soft! What cat in yonder closet hides?

What with everything, Mila accidentally got closed out of Alex's room sometime yesterday evening. I saw her being Brave in the hallway. I went off to get her a bit of cheese. Then she ducked into our room, and I saw her slink into the closet (a good Hide).

Around that point I realized that this was an Accidental Out Of Room situation. So I told house chat. I peered into the back of the closet. There she was in the end corner of one of the shelves, balled up. I petted her a bit. She hissed me just a little. I didn't grab her.

Alex tried to retrieve her. Then she slunk under our bed. Given the hour and other factors, Alex brought in their cane to shoo her out.

And asked her what she thought biting the cane was going to accomplish.

Eventually we shooed her out, and Alex opened their door for her. She slunk in and disappeared under the bed. Belovedest handed in the dish with the dab of cheese.
