Just spent over 2 hours on the phone with
shywickedpixie, relating Tales of Terror (including the Can of Beans Shawn Story).
It's so nice to hear a genuine Alaskan accent again. Anyone who comes from a region without a pronounced accent, who has left it, knows how it feels, I think -- you leave, and everybody sounds a little weird, but because it's not a broad enough accent to be noticed by most, you can't quite put your finger on how it is, but when you hear someone from home, they sound
right in a way that no one else does...
