You are Form 4, Gargoyle: The Fallen. "And The Gargoyle mended his wings from the blood of the fallen so he could rise up from imprisonment. With great speed and resourcefulness, Gargoyle made the world his for the taking." Some examples of the Gargoyle Form are Daedalus (Greek) and Mary Magdalene (Christian). The Gargoyle is associated with the concept of success, the number 4, and the element of wood. His sign is the new moon. As a member of Form 4, you are a creative and resourceful individual. You are always thinking of possible solutions to problems you face and you generally choose one that is right. Much of your success comes from your ability to look at things a little differently than everyone else. Gargoyles are the best friends to have because they don't always take things for face value.

mRNA
You are mRNA. You're brilliant, full of important,
interesting information and you're a great
friend to the people you care about. You may
have sides to you that no one understands. But
while you understand more than most people,
you're only half-there most of the time.

Many weird dreams. I ran into some recently ex-CTYers, and told them about cake artwork transfer things. And there was this CTY-like place, and an IEEE 20-cent coin, and something about gods, a replica goblet, the ancient sources of water, and a boat. And Patrick Stewart and wine. And the gods were some of the CTYers. And some of the grownups.

I drew it for you guys.

That was an odd bit of currency to have in a dream. I believe I've reproduced it near-exactly. There was a building on it, and it turned out to have been MIT Building 7.

The actual coin from the dream looked a little more lopsided, in the manner of ancient, worn coins.

It was just too bizarre a thing to pass up doing. I have this thing for foreign currency, even though it's evidently US currency, or compatible with it the same way that Canadian coin passes in Alaska.

Came in to school blearily. Took test. Vented to teacher on the lines of "There should be a law!!" His response: "After you get out, they'll pay you a lot of money for that." "Oh. Right."

Chilled in lab; made new icon.

Went to IEEE meeting on AI rather than GSU meeting.

Picked up LF.

Chilled at home.

[livejournal.com profile] marxdarx got a ride home early, yay!

Am now headed in the general direction of t3h bank. Yay, me.

Have been put in charge of random billage for the month, thanks to happy-funtime with things.

Got a holiday card from [livejournal.com profile] rainstorm13. Was boggled at first, because the handwriting on the card, well...

Mailbox. Lunatic unlocks, begins sorting through stuff. "[livejournal.com profile] votania, [livejournal.com profile] votania, resident, [livejournal.com profile] votania and it's junk mail, LF's school, me from the research place: check, yay, me from Mama: big and square -- must be a holiday card, resident, resident, magazine, ...wait, magazine? And it's not computer shit? Who got the magazine?" *looks at address* "Oh, it's for next door." Goes, drops magazine off at office, goes home, dumps mail on flat surface.

Some hours later, sorts through mail. "Mass mailing for me, card from Mama -- wonder if there's any money in it, research check." Sits down with mail. Checks out mass mailing. Sale at store, yay. Opens envelope from Mama. "American Greetings? What is she, on crack? Nice card, though. Pretty. Guess she's getting old. Awww, sweet message. And she's calling it the Temple now! ...all well and happy. Yep, we sure are! Much love, Byron ...the FUCK??!" *checks envelope* "Oh my gods. They have the same handwriting. Byron and my mother have the same handwriting."

So that was entertaining.

I'll need to ask [livejournal.com profile] votania if her workplace can be made to cough up a schedule for her for the upcoming few weeks. This will make the rest of us that much happier.

I'll need to purchase the raw materials for that gift to my father. I'm thinking if I do that, then I should also make a bookmark for Mama with a pressed flower.

I'm going to see when the E is coming in, and arrange to spend time with, when and where and how. I must schedule for the inevitable showing of assorted colors with her family.

I don't know if [livejournal.com profile] votania's going to be around to keep an eye on LF for the movie on the 17th, assuming Darkside can get that day off. *grumps to self*

We'll have to see what happens.

I've decided that enough with the wishy-washy woobling about my page size: I've made my links component have the page-size filtered version of my friends page as one of the links.

That way, not only will I be able to view my page in small-screen comfort, but anyone who's insane enough to want to read my friends page has merely to clicky linky, and they may also enjoy the same advantage. That, of course, means that if someone does something huge or page-breaky in my absence, that it won't be filtered out, but I am good about keeping it current when I am around.
