I do that, don't I.
Feb. 8th, 2004 09:30 pmI spend a day doing lots of posting, then I go *bzoop* and am not seen for large chunks of the time I'd usually be active.
Today's other tasks were sleep, and then shopping for cheese, carrots, and orange juice. I got good luck with the bus on the way out, getting there just in time for each (with a side order of "Oooh, I hope I'm not going to barf ... hey, Stomach, I know you don't like that combination, just send it on already!"), but I waited nearly an hour at the bus stop on the way back.
I finished reading that book about marriage that I picked up from the library that
freshstartwrite meets in. Interesting, worthwhile, and I agree with it that if you're going into a discussion knowing that your partner is a worthless creep and nothing he says is going to make any sense, that partnership is probably not going to last very much longer.

Bread Machine (ode to)
Feb. 8th, 2004 11:22 pmHave I mentioned the bread machine lately? No? I probably need to. I love that thing. Pizza dough, yeah, but the sheer niftiness of being able to drop a bunch of water, some grease, flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in, and have a loaf of nice hot bread three hours later, is more than enough to send me dancing and perking about.
I made bread last night. I really do need to come up with a solution to the problem of what to do with a loaf of very hot bread, so that it will neither dry out nor become nasty and soggy.
